Aside from about 6 NBA teams, you would be stupid not to tank.

When at the top of lottery, even if player ends up not working out, you still make a fortune in merchandise sales. Old Clippers owner knew this. Winning doesn't necesarily mean more $$. Only so many Jason Tatum jerseys will sell. and I am sure half of Milwaukee has a Giannis jersey.

And from what the so called experts say, this is a great year to have a top 3 pick.
