Actually, he's TECHNICALLY not a liar there because he says those are his "first five 100-unit plays," which is true. He doesn't mention all of the 100-unit plays because then he would have to mention the losers too. So it's very deceptive, but technically not a lie.
Kelso and Budin are salesmen. They know how to polish their records well. By having different categories of plays, you can focus on one category and leave others out. For instance, Budin can stop mentioning one of his "crews" if they are, say, 8-7. And Kelso can neglect to mention all of his smaller unit plays and focus only on the big plays, which hit at a much higher percentage.
IMO, where you get into the "lying" category is when you have Kelso giving himself 3 wins in the 50-200 unit category on his 75-Unit parlays, even though each play within the parlay is only 25 units (added together to get a total of 75 units). So his supposed 40-10 record on 50-200 unit plays is more like 28-10. Still very good, but not as good as he wants you to believe.
Take a look at post #7 in the Saturday Service Plays thread. It's got a breakdown of Kelso's picks. Apparently he has changed from keeping a record of his "50-200 unit plays" to now calling them "big game plays." This way he can count those 25-unit winners on his parlays three times, and do it honestly.
Guys stop being dumb that wasn't a blowout game.. He took the underdog..
He's not talking about 100 units hes talking about his 100 unit blowout games... say what you want but IMO it is a different category and its fine if he says hes 5-0, cuz he is..
