You have to shuttle in. You can't park close enough to the stadium otherwise.

There's a park and ride shuttle at the mall on MacFarland and I think it's 15th. You park at the mall and pay $20 and they shuttle you in the rest of the way.

I only went to a couple games when I lived there, and didn't tailgate, so can't answer your other questions.

Have fun!

Too far to walk but not a far drive. Couple miles. I would call the hotel and see if they offer any sort of gameday shuttle or transportation - even if it's just a ride to another shuttle. Most do around there, especially that close to the stadium.

Just call the hotel and ask them the best way to get to the stadium. I'm sure they get this all the time.

You should be about 3 miles from the Stadium / Unuversity Mall pick up is a little less than 2 miles from hotel I believe. I certainly would call the hotel and confirm best way to get to stadium from there. A lot of tailgating on the Quad near Denny Chimes

STEVIE,its definately a good idea to call the hotel and find out,and for the life of me i was trying to figure out what this quad stuff was,i seen it mentioned on all the maps and didn't know heads or tails...on the map it looks like everything is spread out and a distance to actually get to the stadium itself.I swear, looking at all the different maps is so confusing that you feel like saying screw looking at them and go on,..lol

Harry also suggested of calling the hotel to,so that sounds like the way to go,....thanks for the info,as i said any is good

The quad is across the stadium. It's where Denny Chimes is. Hundreds of tents are set up on Friday for those that have those spots reserved for tailgating

uber and lyft are best for moving around if you don't have a car

can't bring anything into game...like any other stadium. if u have a woman with you she must have her stuff in a small clear bag or they will toss the purse

yeah very easy to get through bryant museum even on day game

on Fri night I would just uber to downtown tuscaloosa...there's nothing but bar after bar so very good area the night before a game.

ON day of game you can rent a tailgating spot on the quad and bring your own food and beer or just hit the bars right next to the stadium which are on University just west of BDS. plenty of options there. you can bring a 6-pack onto the quad and just walk around there too...usually 4 or 5 food trucks for food and just start chatting with people and you can crash their tailgate

If there is, I've never seen it. Everything is on the quad.

the quad is open to public and can have an open container on it. if you want a specific spot with tent/table/electricity you have to rent a spot and they will have it ready for you when you arrive, and take it down when you leave. there are diff levels available to rent some with table, chairs, electricity, grill, utensils, etc down to just the space with a tent. but is a really large area so you can just walk around and drink there without having a spot. tons of folks are tailgating there with TV's going and it's pretty easy to hijack their tailgate...just bring beer

west of BDS on university is a bunch of bars. will be crowded but plenty of them to try out. probably easiest to just hang out on university in downtown Ttown and then shuttle to game if you're not into crowds and chaos

you can also just hang out at the Druid City Brewery...good little tasting room with some outside seating and clean bathroom inside. I usually start there and walk up to stadium and hit a bar or two on University, then go into game. Druid doesnt have food but usually have two or three dudes outside grilling stuff up for a charge. it's in a big strip mall within walking distance to bds so there are some fast food joints right there as well

There is another good BBQ joint we ate at when my daughters were in cheer camp / competitions there. Full Moon BBQ. 1/2 Grilled chicken off that pit is very good

Yeah Full Moon is a chain down there. I prefer Jim n Nicks if you are going to do a chain. Cheddar biscuits put it over the top.

Keyman, both of these places are way better than Dreamland IMO.
