Hello friends! I am a US citizen. I am hoping to move to Costa Rica. I would like to somehow secure a job before going. I understand it is hard for a US citizen to get employment. I am a former college basketball player, coach, and teacher. I have also worked in the golf and resort businesses in Florida. I am willing to do basically anything. I am knowledgeable in the sports betting industry as well as poker. If anyone has any suggestions or knows anybody who is looking to hire someone like me please let me know. Thanks. :howdy: I would post my email but I am not sure if that is against the rx's rules.

Sales, before football season would be a pretty solid bet to get your foot in the door somewhere.

Thank you for your help guys. Mason, what do you mean by sales? It seems like there is some demand for people who speak english for jobs talking on the telephone.

There is a great need for good sales people for sportsbooks especially right before foots. Thats all I have done for sportsbooks and I wouldn´t do anything else. Pay is awesome and its a lot of fun talking to the players all day trying to up their deposits with better bonuses etc..... I loved every second of it. If you can deal with rejection and people yelling at you all day its worth the reward. Telephone sales are always tough but the commissions are worth it. :banger:

Thanks fi. What are you selling exactly? I understand answering the calls and taking the bets part. Are you from the U.S? What's the best way to get a job like that? Just walk into the places and ask if they need help?

fly, youre not asking me but these things can sometimes go unanswered so Ill help out.

Sales, he means, sitting down and cold calling people to get them to every join and send money or reup if they already had an account there and no money.

You would in all likelyhood have to come down and get interviewed by a particular book...

Things have change alot though the last 3 years with the laws passed by your Fuhrer....thus there arent that many books and options for sending money down are as limited as they have ever been.

Unless youre really good at it a nd I mean really really good at it, youre not looking at a salary which you would consider decent, this if youre used to living in the US.

In all likelyhood, it probably isnt something u want to look into right now, not my intention to discourage you, just telling it as it is.

Slim.
