Look at all those fumbles by the Pats since all that air was put back in the balls.

Where are you getting your numbers from?

I just went back to 2007......
They led the league with fewest fumbles in 2007 (14) and 2010 (9), makes sense they went to the Superbowl both of those years.
in 2014 they were #2 (13)
in 2013 they were #12 (24) There were 23 teams in the NFL that has less fumbles than the Patriots that year.
in 2012 they were tied #4 (14)
in 2011 they were #3 (13)
in 2009 they were #4 (17)
in 2008 they were #4 (17)

So where is this astronomically low fumble rate you speak of??

Your numbers show they're top 4 in every year but one. No other team has done this. And they're an outdoor team. Fumbles per touch it's not even close!

Hey let me do you a solid right here and now. Why don't you take the money you were going to give me and put it in your other pocket and stay the fuck out of my threads instead then if you don't like it?

I couldn't wait for a large enough sample to prove the mo mo's who were posting that the Pats have gained a huge advantage in fumbles over the years because they played with deflated balls They make these invented claims and they have been proven just haters.

Like vittered he says he likes the Pats and everything accomplished but they are cheaters.

OK then vittered is great husband but he beats his wife because I say so.

Um what?

its not like it's a baseless accusation to say the pats cheat. They've been fined, stripped of draft choices, other NFL teams worried about talking game plan in locker room.

Me on the other hand, never accused, never arrested, never fined, never questioned for wife beating. You see the difference now?

The Physics of Football written in 2005 clearly states a football is easier to carry, catch, throw, if slightly deflated. Umm who was it that forwarded that book, I think it was Bill Belicheat. 2006 Brady lobbies NFL for the ability to prepare own balls. 2006-2014 lowest fumbles per touch by a wide margin in the NFL. Coincidence of course, it always happens to the Pats. Nuff said!

Hey JC, have you ever had an original thought? Or is your main forum contribution posting "haha +1" after other people's thoughts?

It is funny hearing that a fan base is over the top from anyone who roots for the Cubs. Look at your own fans HC.

A guy basically had to move and change his entire life because he messed up by trying to catch a foul ball. If he stayed in Chicago, he might've been killed.

That seems like a fan base that views sports in a perfectly healthy way.

I had nothing to do with the Bartman fiasco, obviously, and am on record saying it was ridiculous.

We're talking about posters on this forum and the posts they make. Not sure I see the parallel.

"HC, you can't talk about an annoying fan base. Cause um, remember Bartman?"

Ummmm, what?

there was some debunked article talking about the Patriot's low fumble rate since team's were allowed to inflate balls to different PSI's since 2006 (ish). It was such poppycock, it never gained transaction anywhere in any real conversation, but a few people who don't care whether or not they're accurate when they speak still cite such.

if such evidence existed, would't Roger and the NFL smash the Patriots with it? Would they not use it to justify all the idiocy of their behavior? Of course he would, yet he didn't, but not even that omission sinks in.

in such cases, it's best to just move along

You're right willie, I will move ahead. He posted an inaccurate article, which I can just post my own debunking it. But no need.

No one seems to understand how important ball security is to this team.

The whole point of this thread is to prove how fucked up people are whether its spygate (taping other teams from other than the designated area where you can legally tape other teams) or deflategate where its been proven the NFL ran a sting and came up with nothing that even a federal judge laughed out of court.
And people can't get over how the Pats are leaps and bounds are ahead of every NFL team organizationally that even the NFL has to invent ways to handcuff them.

Now read the NFL rule on how to handle injury reports vs the rule about equipment violation and you tell me which rule the NFL takes more seriously. But nobody gives a fuck because the Colts are perennial underachievers and losers and crybaby fucks.

Will people scream and call the Colts cheaters for fudging the injury reports? No. Because they can bend the rules and still lose anyway.

Sean, the biggest example of hypocrisy in this case is how Roger's NFL handled another case just last year

The Minnesota Vikings were caught red handed warming their footballs on a frigid day, an absolute violation of NFL rules.

Why were the Vikings warming their footballs? obviously to gain an advantage by making the footballs easier to handle?

What did the NFL do about such? NOTHING

so one team gets caught red handed, NO PUNISHMENT. The other team allegedly "probably knew", but no real evidence they did know or they intentionally altered the balls (like they have against the Vikings). Yet the Pats get fined 1 million dollars, lose two draft picks and TB12 suspended 4 games.

pure idiocy, nothing less

I just proved your numbers are wrong.

Really!?! Wow talk about the dumbing down of society! Your numbers show the Pats finished in the top 4 in every year since 2006! Except for one season (10 fumbles in two freezing cold days in Den and Buf caused a standard deviation) No outdoor team has ever done this! Your numbers prove my point! And like I said look at touches per fumbles and it's not even close! But keep believing your numbers proved me wrong lol!

And enough with this crybaby argument! You don't see the same "crybaby" argument with REAL DYNASTIES like the Yankees, Real Madrid, Habs, or 49ers!

I don't renenber mlb running sting operations that came up with nothing then lying about it for months... Then again those sports weren't being ran by the worst commissioner and league office in sports history.

as for real dynasties, you could argue that with the way the Nfl is set up now (free agency, salary cap, one and done playoffs, more playoff teams) the pats 15 year run is more dominant than any of those.

I know I know the poor Pats, the league has it in for them even though the owner was good friends with the commissioner!:ohno: Sorry I didn't watch football when the playoffs were best two out of three! (one and done playoffs!?!? Really double :ohno::ohno:
