I use a pph site and have a small following and all is going well. I do take new people from time to time and when that happens I explain to them that if I am taking someone new I require 20% down of the line of credit to be extended to them. Many seem to think this is irrational and unfair. But from a standpoint as a player or should I say as a legit player, doesn't it make sense that I would not give you a dime of credit if I do not know you, rather have a security deposit just in case you do not pay. I actually have a few that came aboard this way and found that they where more honest than the some of the "loyal" customers I thought I had. How can one expect to get a line to play with, if nothing is put down. Their is a cap to what I extend people, obviously, but still to me this is pretty darn fair. Could someone from a bettors standpoint tell me if they feel this is fair as well? Or really is it asking too much. If I know the person I do not require this, and to me it keeps me from being opened for chip shots. Thanks.
