Scotland comes into this match knowing exactly what they have to do to finish second in their group and get into a playoff in November for a EURO 2004 spot next year. They have to win and hope Germany win or draw at home to Iceland. They have control over the former but not the latter. I can't see Germany slipping up at home against Iceland and I think Berti Vogts and his squad feel the same way. Rudi Voeller has given Vogts the "wink wink" and basically said you win and you're in. We'll take care of Iceland.
Scotland have played very hard and gave Germany all they wanted last month in a 2-1 defeat. Hampden Park is sold out for Saturday's match and I feel Scotland are very focused and will play a solid match and come away with a convincing win. I made two plays on this match. There are some -300 out there on Scotland to win which is a steep price but still less than what I think it should be.
Scotland HT/FT -135
Scotland -1 1/2 -115
