Currently developing a project for a line moving / grading tool, and really feel that a proper lines manager with his/her experience would help in laying out the interface.

I think a lines manger with experience in DGS would work best, as that is the primary software used.

We are wanting consultation in how the best daily workflow of lines moving and grading happens, and what could make it better in your opinion.

We will have questions on how the grading process works as well, with parlays (fixed and true odds payouts and limitations) and with how the scores are entered and double checked., etc.

I would say if anyone is interested and has the time to chat via skype, we could just work it like a standard Q&A session. Perhaps multiple sessions could be done if that fits ok with you. Times are flexible as I understand most people are working hard. Would not think it would take more than combined couple of hours.

Payment can be made any number of ways, half up front and half upon final session. We can agree upon fee based upon experience if thats ok with you.

Thanks for looking and I will check PM daily!

Is there such a software that automoves and autogrades? Does it really pose a threat to workers? What about horse software that works on its own?

Well, I can be available to helpo you out, been doing this for a bit over a decade. As so happens, not only a pretty good bookmaker, but also do software development, so I know where to get the score feeds from, lines feed, concensus lines and line moves. This is quite a bit about the software and data, and maybe 20% about how line management work.

There are a couple of guys developing software but even they will tell you it is to be used as a TOOL not to be solely relied on

We already have developed this software, and we still need a line guy to make sure everything is going smoothly. We have been using it for years now, without any problems. Of course props still needs a couple of guys just because of the sheer volume.

I now know there is software that does that, I know its now on ASI platform, which I don't like since they have to use another platform for horses. You are correct it moves and grades under a Lineman's watch... Software has come a long way... We used to do this on carbon paper... hehehehe...
