Like this trade?

Here was my lineup (backups in parentheses):

QB Carson Palmer (Chad Henne)
WR Andre Johnson
WR Reggie Wayne
WR Dwayne Bowe (Devin Hester, Early Doucet, Julian Edelman, Braylon Edwards)
RB DeAngelo Williams
RB Shonn Greene (Joseph Addai, Knowshon Moreno)
TE Chris Cooley (Jon Carlson)
K Gould

(don't start a defense in this league)

Just traded away [Knowshon Moreno and Jon Carlson] for [Tony Gonzalez and Steve Slaton].

I figured I still have Addai as a backup, and it's a pretty big upgrade at TE. I'm thinking about now taking Cooley and packaging him with a receiver and possibly Greene or Williams for a top five RB.

I'd like to hear thoughts on this. I know Slaton looks pretty unattractive after Foster's game, but he's still got potential to carry a big load later on in the year.

Or could also ship Gonzo somewhere...I'm still pretty high on Cooley this year.

I've re-read my own post 3 times now and like this trade less and less. Damnit. I was drunk.

harry you got hosed on that trade. just my imo cooley is a better option than carlson and gonzo then u shipped a starting rb for a backup rb who had 3touches in week1?

i would try to ship gonzo with addai or greene for a top rb. but greenes stock is way down and you might not get fair value for him now. wait for him to have a few good games. cooley is a must start every week mcnabb makes his TEs look like studs

I didn't get hosed on the trade, I proposed it...lol. Like I said I had been drinking, agreed it's a bad trade.

I just got offered the following though:

I get Brees and Gates
for
Gonzo, Carson Palmer, and Reggie Wayne

Still thinking this one over.
