YTD Totals

+ 6.10 units (Cup Match-Ups)
+25.40 units (N'wide Match-Ups)
- 12.84 units (Props/Outrights)

Total: +18.66 units

Maybe my luck is turning around after last night. Swept all 5 match-ups after Leffler blew a tire on the last lap.
Not really a lot I like out there today, this is what I played:

Match-Ups

3.00 units Dave Blaney (+100) over AJ Allmendinger (@thegreek)
The second Red Bull Team of Allmendinger seems to be getting better but not ready to ride that one yet. Did finish 12th last week but his other 5 starts are all 20th or worse(with 3 30th or worse).

Blaney and his BDR team has gotten a lot better since missing the race at Talladega, 2 Top 10's in those 5 races and their lowest finish is 22nd. Blaney has also done well at Michigan in the past(6th and 18th LY).

3.00 units Jamie McMurray(-145) over Elliott Sadler (@sportsbook)
Don't like the high price tag but I do like the match-up. Roush has been extremely good here and looks to be again this week with four cars in the Top 10 in final practice (McMurray was 3rd).

Sadler has had no luck at all with 7 finishes of 26th or worse, he has a pretty good car but the end result may not show it.

2.00 units Jeff Burton (+135) over Martin Truex Jr (@sportsbook)
2.00 units Jeff Burton (+120) over Mark Martin (@sportsbook)
I will ride this horse until the streak ends. Burton continues not to get any respect from the oddsmakers. Has not finished lower than 13th all year.

Truex runs good here (2nd both races LY) and Martin seems to have a good car this weekend but this 31 team has been better than the 1 and the 8 all year. In 14 races Truex has finished in front of Burton only 3 times, Martin only twice.

2.00 Tony Stewart (+100) over Kasey Kahne (@bodog)
Gut play. Kahne is the hot driver and Stewart is sinking fast. Tony has finished 35th and 41st the last two times out, and even with the problems he has at JGR this team is still capable to say the least. This is about the time of year he normally makes his move.

Props

1.00 unit Jeff Burton (+305) to win group (@thegreek)
over Ku. Busch/Harvick/Vickers/Newman

2.00 units Dale Earnhardt Jr. (-145) to finish better than 11.5(@5dimes)
Only twice all year has Jr finished below 12th

Outrights

1.00 unit Carl Edwards (+585) (@thegreek)
1.00 unit Matt Kenseth (+755) (@thegreek)
0.50 unit Tony Stewart (+1185) (@thegreek)
0.25 unit Jamie McMurray (50 to 1) (@sportsbook)

Good luck to everyone.

hey im looking over some of the matchups, can you or anyone tell me why is Earnhardt such a dog(+160) vs Biffle? he's starting in row 2 and has had a good campaign so far. does Biffle normally dominate on this track or something? it just seems like an overlay...thanks

well i just read this, but still.

the No.16 driver has had to overcome a lot of bad luck while having the dominant car in a few races. Biffle won this event in 2006, and he has a solid finishing average of 13.4 in ten races at Michigan.

biffle has been really stout in practice(1st and 2nd in the two practice sessions yesterday) he drives for Roush-Fenway which has owned Michigan in the past and he has been running very well lately, 2 Top 5's last three races.
