Does anyone have this? My daughter just turned 16 and got her drivers license so we thought it would be a good idea to get this. My wife now thought it would be a good idea if we were all on it. I'm not so sure I like it now as my wife is a bit controlling and can see where I am at all the time and how long I have been there. Tempting to leave my phone at the strip joint for a couple of hours

Funny,

we just got our son a cell phone and just got the app over the weekend.

We got this app based on a friend who had told us that is very good.

There is a tool in there so we WONT be tracked as i told my wife i dont want to be tracked.

I have not played with the app yet but once i do, i will let you know

Don't know your daughter but if she has given you guys reason for concern then YES....

Otherwise let her be...kids will be kids...

If she sees you guys trust her and give her some space that will go a long away in her mind...

remember trust breeds trust...

I just went on the app for the first time.

It shows where my son is, how long he's been there, and his battery life

Then it shows myself and says (Locations permissions OFF)

Then it shows my wife and says (Locations permissions OFF)

So the good news is, you dont have to be tracked!!

We use it for our kids and not to track everything they do but in case anything happens, nice to know where they are, if they are driving when they will be home, etc.

My kids/wife can see where I am too, doesn't bother me

It might backfire. Watch Black Mirror episode "Arkangel". Seriously though, I don't know if I would. I might consider w/crime up.

I've seen kids defeat this by leaving their phones in one place while going to another.

Get a Hum device from Verizon for their car and just don't tell them.

Good to know. You can actually watch how fast they are driving too. I don't plan on using it much but it is a nice option to have
