You say it works in china, what happens when all of these parents with 1 child retire and you have 1/3rd of the population supporting 2/3rds of the population? It is the problem America has with social security/baby boomes on steroids. Nobody wants to pay huge taxes for other people.

I think these topics, religion, the enviornment, population just evoke so much emotion and it goes along with the whole liberal mantra of "the government must do something to prevent this" that these guys come out with such radical and unpopular view points.

Never said we should adopt their human rights policies, just their one child policy. If SS can't support retirees, government should step in to help. Sure, it would be a burden on the taxpayers but would be far less than the burden that will result with unchecked population growth. BTW, if you think I'm a liberal you're a fool.
