Engineering/mathamatics degree - can be used for finance or something practical.

I'd go to Stanford - great school, great weather, close enough to enough state schools that you can still bang their sluts.

for 1 yr. - great campus...

shoulda stayed, I had decent grades.
went to Illinois State after that.

A degree that pays

Accounting is an awesome degree, no seriously, it prepares you for everything in the business world. Management, marketing & accounting, and accountants are found in every entity in the country including the FBI. That's not even counting public accounting, large and small

Other diverse and widespread degrees with portability. Biology, a prerequisite for everything in the medical industry including pharmaceuticals, research & even education. Law enforcement, education and engineering are all diverse and productive degrees with tons of jobs

Stay away from degrees that don't offer many jobs, unless you plan on going into education

Those Snowflakes will spend 100,000 for a degree in Greek Philosophy, then wonder why there is no jobs, then go back to live with parents, and want forgiveness on all of the student loans they took out..but they will have their "participation" diploma

either work 3 jobs busing tables or take out a student loan you can never pay off to get a job that pays about 20.00 a week more than you can make without a degree. all to make employees of the colleges rich with their outrageous tuition and fees. college a complete scam for most.

I never understood why people go to expensive out of state or expensive in state private schools ONLY to get a degree thats not worth 2 shits.

Then all they do is complain that they make jack shit and they have to pay these crazy student loans.

I ONLY applied to State public schools (granted i was no scholar) as i knew i didnt want to pay $$$$$$$$$$ for college

If I had to do it all over again, I pretty much would have done the same thing i did 25 years ago.

Go to a state public university and have a BLAST (as long as i kept up with my grades).

My 4 years of college were great times. Met my wife there (who i still like). Met a lot of people who I still keep in touch with and have helped me big time through life!!
