great coach no doubt.

no super bowl wins after spygate. just sayin'

karma.

just went 18-1 one year with a last second fluke loss in 2007

followed that up with a last minute loss in 2011

best record in league after spy gate

Which move worked out? Trading out of draft spots where dez Bryant and corderelle Patterson were taken? Getting rid of vinatieri, then going for it on 4-14 in the Super Bowl instead of kicking a fg that was less than 50 yds? Getting rid of Deion branch, which basically cost them the 2006 championship? Not being able to draft or sign one worthwhile db in 10 years even though it's been the biggest issue for a decade? Drafting aaron Dobson in rd 2, instead of Keenan Allen and Markus Wheaton who were the next two wrs taken? Taking tavon Wilson in the second round when he wasn't even invited to combine and not on most teams draft board at all?

Belichick gm moves have been awful for a decade, as the defensive genius can't fix the defense nor identify talent for it.

And yes the moss move worked, but was the no brainer of no brainers.

Considering the current NFL, where having a good coach/qb combo guarantee a playoff birth.. having this coach, with one of the greatest qb ever, in a terrible division.. Team should have won more than 3 rings, but being cheap and petty and rarely actually spending to cap cost them.

the have the best record in the league since he's been here
with the most SB wins
with the most SB appearances
with the most conference titles

I can't think of a player they let go that was a star elsewhere (for any period of time)

Gostkowski may be the best PK in the league

I'm sorry, I'm a bottom line guy

Pete Carroll is the best......Jimmy Johnson as well...........They both won titles in college and NFL while starting with average at best times when they got there....

Saban and the Hoodie are great, but have only done it at 1 Level.

the press around here is awful but the fans aren't much better.

There is a loud minority that live their lives through the boston sports teams and when they tend to do bad, these people tend to act Japan finally retaliated with an A-bomb of their own on the East Coast. These are the people who wait 20 mins to talk on sports radio for 45 seconds.

As far as the other points ITT

Agree with DoubleDeuce about the drafting, it has been poor for awhile. Disagree with him about AV though, I'd take Gost over him from '06-current and that is with Gost coming at a fraction of the cost for a lot of that time. Disagree with him about Branch too, yeah it sucked for that '06 season but paying Branch instead of getting a 1st would've been a bad move and if they do pay Branch maybe they don't get Welker/Moss the next offseason.

Some stuff just comes down to luck to. Gronk hurt in the final game of the year 3 straight years, Hern being a serial killer.....

we did not start calling for Gapoppolo, the press did

we did not say Brady was done, the haters did and the press did

we did lose faith in Belichick, the press did

the press created the controversy and then ran around saying we were bailing on Bill & Tom, classic modern day press

now I and most others were concerned, but we were all thinking it's much more likely they improve than not, they did not fall off a cliff

PS: I'm sure some small minority of Pats fans were jumping off the bus, there are assholes in every walk of life :)

dang will i think you had more bourbons in you last night when you typed this homerism up than AKped had when he called the oregon ducks a dynasty

if it werent for your complete dogshit division and lack of talent at QB the Pats would not be a playoff team this year. it's over...deal with it

btw nice win on Mon night but doesn't change facts that this team is shit...just the shiniest shit in an otherwise horrible division
