The sportsbooks won't be making that mistake again.
After Leicester City pulled off one of the most improbable soccer -- and gambling -- stories ever last season, capturing the 2015-16 English Premier League crown at odds as high as 5,000-to-1 at William Hill before the campaign started, the Foxes have opened with considerably lower odds for the 2016-17 season.

And no team has odds higher than 1,000-1.

Leicester City opened with the seventh-best odds to win next year's Prem title -- 25-1 at William Hill and 20-1 at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.
Manchester City is the favorite at the Westgate with 7-4 odds, followed by Manchester United (4-1), Arsenal and Chelsea at 13-2 and Tottenham at 8-1.
The crop of next year's long-shot hopefuls at 1,000-1 at Westgate includes Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Watford, Burnley, Hull City and West Brom.
