Have a vacation home that I intend on moving to mixed-use (spend some time there personally, rent the rest of the year). Couple questions:
Note - i have no idea what i'm talking about so any and all guidance appreciated.
Have a vacation home that I intend on moving to mixed-use (spend some time there personally, rent the rest of the year). Couple questions:
- Best to move into LLC and subsequently get a TaxID, move homeowners insurance/transfer policyholder to LLC, add any mixed-use policy addendum etc?
- Have a trust setup, just move property into trust, get enough mixed-dwelling insurance to cover my ass, not worry at all about LLC and use personal Tax ID etc?
