As The Costa Rica Star announced back in June, the largest floating library, Logos Hope from OM Ships International will arrive at Puntarenas, Costa Rica this Friday, October 26 and will be stationed in the country through November 11, 2018. The ship travels around the word with the objective of bringing people close to culture, entertainment and education.
The floating library offers over 5,000 books of different genres, among them fiction, spiritual, business, adventure, and children literature at very low cost, usually close to $2.00 that can be paid in cash or card.
The last time the Logos Hope visited Costa Rica was in 2003, and it received over 80 thousand visitors.
The cost to enter the boat is of just 1,000 colones for children over 12 years of age and adults.
Logos Hope will also have different entertainment activities and it has a restaurant on board; in each port, the ship’s crew also visits the community to supply aid to those in need.
