needed for those non Intel!!! I leave my laptop on a cushion in my lap for hours on end and never an issue. When you got to a store and see the computers turned on and compare the feel for the heat between the 2 and you will understand..Heat kills!

I Like my Toshiba Satellite Laptop, even though...I'm Looking for a New or 2nd one Myself.

Thinking of getting a Mini, not sure yet.

I have owned 2 Toshibas and they are great machines for the price.

First one lasted about 4 years and Ive had this one for about 2.5 and its still working great. my current satelite cost around 650 with mail in rebates, should be able to get one around $600 from best buy type stores

honestly, I cant see why people pay $2000 for an apple besides how they feel when they open in up at a coffee shop

the guy at best buy suggested a hp i told him what i wanted it for. it was only like $545 i think. i just want one for fast surfing on the net, that still surfs quickly if i have all the features from mlb.com, nba league pass and any football subscriptions. that i can bring to a bar.

I got a HP G60, It was $499 on sale at Best Buy. 16:9 Screen is great for mlb.tv, Very good HD picture. Plus HDMI output so I can watch the games on my TV. Runs pretty quick but the battery life sucks. Lucky to get 3 hours out of it.

i would sugget what someone did earlier in this thread, check slickdeals.net everyday cus the good deals always tend to expire fast. i bought a new hp laptop at bestbuy a few days ago, had a great deal, only 400, 450 out the door (cali has high tax).
