RIP Nick Adenhart

What a tragedy....He pitched a great game last night , and his life is ended by some idiot who has no disregard for traffic laws....they should but him in prison and throw the keys away.

they won't play the game tonight & it is terrible news but lets not judge a guy asking that question. be honest, none of us know the guy (ADENHART) & it's not like wer'e going to call some angel players to see how their mental state is. if mondo asked the question & the guy posting was nick's brother or a teammate then it would definitely be in bad taste. i feel terrible that anyone died, pro ballplayer or not but a lot of people will fade the angels in their next game or two so let's not pretend wer'e all holier than thou & commiting some great sin be speculating on the affect it will have.

Your such a f-cking idiot and soul-less human being. I've been following Adenhart for 3 years, and if your a true baseball fan you know who he is. And even if you didn't, you make me sick for diminishing a life.

Alright, this is obviously a great tragedy and a big loss for major league baseball. It's always upsetting when someone passes away, regardless of being a pro athlete. With that being said, lets not crucify a guy who brings up a valid question on a sports betting website. The purpose of this site, as I have always understood it, is to share information and explore different angles. Is it in bad taste? probably. He probably should have started a separate thread, but lets lose the holier than thou bullshit. He's obviously not happy the kid died, but it is now ethically wrong to gamble on a game that involves a team with a tragedy? It doesnt make mondo any less of a person for betting on this game and exploring angles... im a die hard packers fan and unloaded when favre's father died and he played on monday night... and i unloaded on the giants when their owner died... doesn't make me any less of a person. So be upset, mourn the loss, and leave the damn guy (mondo) alone.

RIP

Wow...thats awful whenever anyone gets taken too soon. Regardless of its effect on the Angels and MLB, this is a terrible tragedy on its own.

RIP Nick

Wow, opened up a can of worms. Really meant no disrespect, but I can see how my question could seem insincere.
