The Chargers wrapped their regular season with a 31-28 loss to the Broncos while the Jaguars copped the AFC South title with a 20-16 win over the Titans. These teams met earlier in the season and the Jags had their way with the Bolts, trouncing LA, 38-10, with Trevor Lawrence leading the way with three touchdown strikes, connecting on 28-of-39 for 262 yards.
We should also note that while the Jags were piling up 151 rushing yards the Bolts’ ground attack was neutralized, managing just 26 yards. We have seen Trevor Lawrence take a quantum leap this season and although this matchup won’t be nearly as lopsided as the previous meeting, I do believe that Jacksonville will be able to move the sticks on the ground against the 28th-ranked Chargers’ run-stop unit.
