If you bet on the game, pretty sure you are watching. Thanks for the update
?. The odds of that are pretty high since it's the only game on

Injuries in the NFL are completely out of control. These weight lifting HGH mutants are smashing each other to bits. Running QBs are a terrible investment, they eventually pay dearly via injuries. $46M/yr for Murray? And so on.

Only solution: weigh limits. Eg linemen 260. Yep.

Another big issue causing injuries are the artificial fields, far more non contact injuries than natural fields.

The artificial field grips to well, no give when they plant hard and all the energy goes to the joint unlike a natural field.

Am surprised the NFLPA has not brought this subject up as an issue to bargain

Yes it was non contact but it could have started with a previous hit even a week ago and the fact that he was running as he does way too often instead of throwing, eventually it happens.
Weight limits or the sport dies, the lawyers are ready to go after the NFL, trust me, and it could ruin the game, best case there will be silly touch football type rules. The players are all on HGH, can't be tested, though it is not as effective as steroids, it is powerful. Players are too big and strong and fast, ridiculous 330 lb mutant linemen all the time after the pass is thrown get to push defenseless QBs with both hands to the chest, QB lands on his back. A kicker is barely touched it is a penalty. After Tua they have been a little more strict, but it still happens. Linebackers and safeties pulverize WRs all the time.
SO weight limits, say 265 for linemen, 210 linebackers, and so on, weigh ins on Thursdays, if you are a pound over you get a mulligan rules TBD, it will be a more attractive game to watch, too.
Sure, no artificial turf but what do you do with expensive indoor stadiums?
If you put foam on the outside of the helmet that would help a lot, but the players would look like clowns, not warriors.
The game last night, the blue tents were flooded with players. At least Buck and Aikman acknowledged how decimated the teams were, mostly the broadcasters downplay it.
The game as we know it is not sustainable.
NFL is powerful but some lawyers will take it down when former players decide to challenge what has gone on for a long time.

(right now, Stroud, Young, Richardson... foolish to draft them high)

Jalen Hurtz is still OK. .. Same for Mahomes!

AS for NFL QB's that have missed games this year:
Lance -SF
Garoppolo - SF
Mac Jones - NE
Winston - N.O.
Prescott - Dallas
Tannehill - Tenn
Tua - Miami
Fields - Chi
Wentz - Wash
Ryan - Ind
Stafford -LAR
Mariotta - Atl
Picket - Pitt
Jackson - Balt
Wilson - Den
Murray - Ariz

And we have 4 weeks still to go.

And that's with the rules being what they are. Obviously I don't endorse all the crap they call, but if they let these guys play like they did 20 years ago then your superbowl would be the 2 dudes that started the USFL championship game at QB. The Sloterhouse would be in the house.

Rodgers/Allen/Herbert all played with pretty serious injuries this year too.

Also list doesn't include Z Wilson, who got hurt in preseason. Still live football play. And Darnold, who is currently Panthers starter.

As long as Geno doesn't die I'm good. Need him comeback player of year.
