Kojak's Week 3 Early Selections

Three games that I think everyone should jump on these early as I expect big line moves!

Jacksonville +6 - Jags defense is for real and I am expecting a breakout game for the offense. This will be a field goal game either way.

Minnesota -9 - Yes the Bears won at Green Bay but do you really expect them to win back to back on the road against two best teams in division. I don't and you throw in the fact they lost their secondary leader going up vs Moss smells of big blowout!

Houston +9.5 - Chiefs may be without Priest Holmes in this one and Chiefs defense will have problems with Davis,Johnson, and Carr. Kansas City simply is not good enough to be a 9.5 point against anyone !

Detroit +4.5 - Lions are not as good as Eagles but I think they will keep this one close at home.

Green Bay +5.5 - I feel Green Bay will play more like they did at Carolina. Green should be able to have a nice day running the ball. They must do a better job in the red zone this week and not turn the ball over but I feel they will.

I like Green Bay +6 as well, but betting against the Colts at home seems pretty risky to me. gl

GB offensive line outweighs Indy defensive line by about 50 pound a man average. They are going to go back to their reliable winning formula on the road which is ball control of running Green about 25 times and mixing in some play action pass. Indy's defense to me is extremely overrated. This game will be a field goal game either way as the team that is able to run best not pass best will win and with a banged up James, that team for sure is Green and the Packers. Best of luck.

Adding the final pieces to my card....


Baltimore -2.5 - These are the type of games that Ray Lewis and company really get up for and eat up rookie quarterbacks. Ravens are struggling on offense but I figure for the defense to step up and create the turnovers and the short field in this one. Defense may score the only touchdowns in this one.
Baltimore 16 Cincinnati 10

Arizona +10 - This will be a letdown game for Vick and company. Cardinals are not as bad as 0-2 record indicates. Their defense gives up a ton of yards but very few points. Ask the Rams and Patriots. I feel this game may be a lot closer than people expect as Cards may pull su upset and Green is first win here. But not quite.
Atlanta 23 Arizona 20

Seattle -10 - Seahawks have definitely improved on the road and get their home opener here. 49ers are beat up on both sides of the ball as Barlow and Carter are ailing and might not play and they already have Dorsey the second stringer in at quarterback. I look for Hawks to open up big in front of the home fans.
Seattle 31 San Francisco 10

NY Giants -3 - The worm may have turned for Warner and the Giants. Browns are physically beat up with no Winslow or Courtney Brown. Garcia would need to step up to win this one but I don't think they will against Giants opportunistic defense and Strahan.

Giants 20 Browns 9

Sunday Night Game:
Tampa Bay +4 - I know that Bucs have been anemic on offense and that Raiders will be looking for payback, but simply feel Gruden still knows this team too well and anything he doesn't I am sure Tim Brown and Garner will fill him in. It is 2002 all over again as Bucs get off the schneid.
Tampa Bay 48 Oakland 21 (Don't really think there will be this many points but thought I would predict same score as SB two years ago!)

All my 12 games are final. Winners with Giants, Giants under, Arizona, Houston, and Baltimore with only two losers with Minnesota and Detroit, to bring record on day to 6-2!

Late games looking strong early with Seattle up 17-0 and Denver up 13-3 while Green Bay hanging in going back and forth with Indy. Great chance to get to 9-2 before Sunday Night game!

Pittsburgh +3 (bought 1/2 pt)- simply too much value at this amount and bought
1/2 pt to avoid getting beat by the field goal which would be about only way Miami could win here unless Big Ben starts turning over the ball but anticipate a lot of running from Deuce and Bettis.

Denver wins by a 1/2 pt and Seattle blows out San Francisco to bring record on day to 8-2. Green Bay though is in trouble so will probably be 8-3 going into two late games!

End up 11-4 on the day as 3 more winners with Pittsburgh, Pitts under, and Oakland over but lose with Tampa Bay. Brings overall ytd record at 26-18-1 as definitely have my best Sunday so far this year. Will have a Monday Night Play as well.

Pretty hard to believe that no one has noticed how hot I have been in both college and NFL. Been posting for a few years now and get less respect than the rookies. I guess I have to keep proving myself. Wonder if I am wasting my time to trying help everyone. OH well, I know one person who has been cashing!
