Last week was a funny week going 11-4 on sides and 0-6 on totals. So with that in mind I will not post totals this week.

Jacksonville +7 - A great bet for me over the years has been betting against a team that clinched division the week before. I don't have any numbers but it has been very good. There could be a letdown of intensity for Pats coming off of Dolphins and Colts. Jags have better running game with defense playing as well as Pats. Pats pull off win but don't cover.

Cincinnati -2.5 49ers have been terrible on the road while Bengals have played well since Denver game to start year at home. Bengals are hungry to stay in playoff contention and prove they are no fluke. Look for big game from Kitna and Chad Johnson.

Minnesota -3 Vikings turned corner last week vs Seattle. Bears bubble burst at Green Bay and as a result Grossman starts for Bears. Not only is it his first start but I can't remember how many games he played in cold and snow while at Florida. Vikings dominated first matchup and I see them winning this game though Bears defense has been good.

Arizona +6.5 -Forget Cards performances on road. This is a different team at home. Just ask Green Bay,St. Louis, Cincinnati, and San Francisco. This Panthers team has not been playing well. McCown starts at qb for Birds but he can't be any worse than Blake. In a low scoring game, Cards cover and maybe pull out win.

Kansas City -14 - Everything in Chiefs favor except their performances of late. They are playing at home in bad weather vs dome team who has lost last 23 games on road while coming off of embarrassing loss to rival Broncos. Like I said everything adds up to big Chief victory.

Might have a few more later.

Kojak,

Solid picks across the board. I am still a little worried about the NE game. I just can't see Byron getting over that shify secondary. Although they can run the ball well, they can't convert on third and long.

You may have changed my mind with the playoff clinching info.

Undecided, may lay off that game. Thanks for these great picks.

Nice job on Sunday going 5-4 with a couple close calls. I am looking forward to your Monday selection. I like Miami, which side are you on?
