K St/ Tex Tech....I think the number is tight. I actually see more defense being played in this game than expected. Remember TT/Nevada game a few weeks back.
Toledo/Ball St....Out of the 4, I like this one more than others.
Baylor/OU....Another game to be careful with. Ou will get their points, my concern is that you may need 17+ from Baylor which may not happen.
Indy/Minn....I actually considered playing this game as an under. Believe game will be played in high 40's to low 50's.
Kojak...The main reason the Texas Tech-Nevada game was lower scoring than it should have been was Texas Tech had over 100 yards in penalties..And that many yards kills drives faster than anything. And it makes the offense look worse than what it is.. Another reason it was lower scoring was because Nevada was able to run the ball and chew some clock..KSU has no running game. So everything they do will be from Freeman. TT is known for playing terrible early in the year and looking out of sync on offense..But come conference time, this always changes. And TT has had two weeks to prepare for this game and tighten things up..It is possible that the total could go under the number because KSU's defense is built to stop spread offenses.. Not the run like what they faced last week. But Texas Tech is rushing for 152 ypg. And I believe they can kill a Cat defense that can't tackle with the run as well as the pass. As for the Baylor-OU game, I expect Baylor to score in the 20's here..I believe that OU's defense has yet to be tested..And I still think it is the weak link of the team. Everybody is just talking about QB Griffin..But Baylor has many weapons..RB Finley is averaging 8 ypc. And Baylor has a very underrated group of receivers. This team spreads it around. And they've had two weeks of rest for their conference opener..I can easily see a 42-20 type of game. Baylor is not the Big 12 South doormat anymore..Texas A&M is.K St/ Tex Tech....I think the number is tight. I actually see more defense being played in this game than expected. Love your total plays today Kojak. What do you think about the OVER in Penn State? I would love to hear your input about the total, before I make a play.
I was just about to ask the same question. Can Purdue score on Penn St? We know Penn St will put up 28+ but can Purdue hang? I'm a little confused as to why Painter's numbers are down.
