Looking for a big day to move farther over .500. Here we go!

Florida +1.5 - I can't see them losing two in a row this early in the season. They have played better competition than Louisville and it will prove valuable today in a fairly tight game.

Georgia Tech -13 -Yellow Jackets have been the surprise so far of college basketball. St. Louis is a poor road team and will not be able to push its will of slowing down the game on road vs deep and talented Gtech team.

Detroit -5 - Too much athleticism and defense for Toledo to handle

Missouri +6 - Wrong team is favored. Don't be fooled by Tigers slow early season start. This game will catapult them to #1 or #2 in country. Road doesn't bother them this year.

San Diego St +10.5 - This team is more talented than Red Raiders even if it is at Lubbock

Michigan St. Pk- Home court with possibly 80,000 Spartan fans will play big role in this one.

No. Illinois -1 - Too much size for Marshall

Central Michigan +16- Purdue will win but will play sluggishly coming off of OU Thursday

Illinois -6.5 - Payback game for Illini

USC +12.5 - Trojans will keep this one close in Provo with help of strong backcourt

UCLA -13 - Too much talent and better coaching lead to blowout

Buffalo +10.5 - Surprise team in MAC ?

Vanderbilt -13 - Way too much of everything including home court for Tenn Tech

Marquette +9.5 - Better back court and depth than Wildcats right now especially with Isiah Fox injury

Playing lots of games but it is an even larger slate and these games all look solid! good luck.

Tough start to the day with push on Georgia Tech, one point loss with Detroit, one point loss in overtime with Missouri, and Florida. So far 0-3-1 which could very easily be 3-1 or 4-0. San Diego St. is 30 seconds away from covering, hope they hold on. Marquette looks good so far in Arizona and Michigan St. looks flat against Kentucky.

What do you know , another 1/2 point loss with Marquette bringing record today to 1-4-1. Counting the points on the games I lost, comes to a total of about 10 points. Talk about getting screwed. Hopefully finish up strong.

One of my worst days in quite a while.

Adding to my list of losers with

Montana (loss)
Wyoming (loss)
Weber St. (loss)
E. Washington (loss)
and UCLA looking bad with 2 minutes left. Will probably end day at 5-14-1 with overall now below .500 at 22-30-2.
