The first night of the season was bittersweet going 1-2 with the one winner with the Rams but the losses were with Rams over and Chargers. Another 3 pack for Saturday with my first Kojak Killer (Top Play).
Kojak Killer: Atlanta Falcons -3-20 - Great spot to play on Vick and Co. with Cinci coming off of throttling of World Champs. Bengals defense will be tested early and often as Mora will try to get his offense rounded into shape. Falcons brass wanting the big home win to create the much needed buzz leading into the start of the season. I look for a game similar to the Rams/Skins from last night in this one.
Kansas City -4.5 This game opened up at 6 and has fallen to 4.5 for no good reason especially being played in KC. With the poor offensive line of the Brownies and Cunningham willingness to blitz in the preseason (see Rams/Chiefs last Monday), I expect Garcia and co to have a short night to avoid injury. Chiefs looking for the big start rolling into regular season.
Oakland -3 Raiders should handle undermanned Cardinals team especially offensively with Bouldin out + Green cut McCadley and Gilmour who were 2 backup receivers from last year. I like the fact Collins and Gannon are still fighting it out for starting qb position as well.
Best of luck as we are about 12 days from opening night!
