You can take this one to the bank. Play Green Bay -6.5. I would get it before line goes up. Packers lost at home in playoffs for first time last year and I GUARANTEE it won't happen this year. Seahawks got their road victory on Saturday but I won't discount poor performance on road all year including at Green Bay. Packers are hot at the right time.

Other solid plays early: Tennessee +1, Indianapolis -3(will bounce back) and over 49, and Dallas +3 as they were playing possum today at New Orleans. Parcells will have them ready in this one!

I am also moving Indianapolis up to a must play at -3. Loss to Denver is too fresh in their mind, Payton wants to and will win first playoff game here. Denver will be playing third road game in a row. Starters will be rusty not fresh for Denver that were held out. Look for big effort out of James and Dungy will have rush defense ready this time.

Kojak........I'm not sure Packers are a gimme in this one. Think the masses will be on GB and the real value will be with Seattle and an inflated line. I like their balanced offense and secondary is decent. Hasslebeck can make all the throws. Not impressed with Packers defense. Holmgren knows Favre as well as anyone. Hawks starting to play better on the road. Just a thought.

I think this tough seattle team getting 7 points offers some serious value. I, however seem to lose these games often.

gary and meyer,

This is a game where the bookmakers want the money to go on Seattle. Green Bay has taken their game to a new level. Sf did not have all of their weapons but GB does and defense is really playing well the past 2 weeks. I see this game as a major blowout. Green Bay 31 Seattle 14

kojack i agree, greenbay should win and cover

linemakers want pub to play sea w/ this inflated line, trying to scare them from gb

however realize who greenbay played last 4 games
chi, sand, oak, and half of a denver team

they are not a top 4 team in the nfl(none in the nfc)

i like the game alot not because how good greenbay is but you will see how bad seattle is at away

seattle is a complete joke

six killer,

You are right that Green Bay has a little devine intervention going for them. Come Sunday it should be putting some cash into our pocket. Best of luck.

I will tell you this as a DIEHARD Packer fan.

This game concerns the hell out of me.

One really big factor I do not like is that Green Bay allready beat Seattle in Green Bay earlier in the year. That just bugs me.

The Public backing of the Pack is also of great concern to me. Everybody and their mother are thinking the Pack cannot lose this game. Very dangerous.

I am not saying I do not like your play. I am very neutral on the game myself.

Do I expect the Packers to win? Yes. Having said that, a vast majority of teams that win in the playoffs, cover also.

Hope you win this wager going away, it will make both of us happy.

Green Bay is lucky to be here as we all no.Have they peaked to early ? I disagree tht san fran had limited weapons they beat a philly team trying to win out home field throughout. Seattle has sucked on the road yet winning in sanfran is a boost. With Brett Farve and all tht is happening i feel public is hung up on him thinking its over before it starts .Im waiting for 7.5 or il buy the hook seattle + the points at least this many.will also do 2 team 7 point tease seattle +14 gb pick

fishhead and brendanjack,

I'm telling you, no worries in this one. I was on Seattle in San Fran and I am not a Packer fan so this is not backing one of my teams. Packers win this game handily. You can take it to the bank. Best of luck.

I am jumping off of the Titan bandwagon. I feel their offense is too banged up to perform against Ray and the boys. Now putting Ravens +1 as a must play.

Railbird. Totally agree with Carolina.. I perosnally think that may be the best play on the board. Dallas wont be able to run on that D, and Carter might have some good years ahead of him but not going to get it done on saturday night... I also like the Titans, after watching that one dimensional team the Ravens suck it up on sunday night. Tennesee just shredded the defending champs with Neil O'donnell at QB. say what you want about the Bucs but they are a proud team that wasnt laying down last week. will be a Hell of a Game

Kojak,

You might be right about the outcome of The Titans game but "banged up offense", where, they are healthier going into this game than in the last 8 Weeks.
