Week 1 was bittersweet has had a great Sunday and then came back to earth on Sunday and Monday Night games. Another sweet looking card for Week 2.
Kojak Killers:
Tennessee Pk - Before last year, Tennessee owned Manning and the Colts. Last year Colts swept Titans ultimately sending them to the road for the entire playoffs. McNair and company will take advantage of imo a very overrated defense for Indy while Tennessee's defense will do just enough keep in check Colt offense.
New Orleans -7 - Saints should be marching in as 49ers start Dorsey at quarterback and lose an important offensive lineman in Mayberry. Saints can not afford to lose 2 games in a row let alone both at home. Saints win handily as Deuce gets loose.
Kansas City -6 - Key injuries to Steve Smith and Steven Davis will slow and imo halt a 2nd run to the playoffs for Panthers. Chiefs playing opening game at home should have some fun as Panthers will struggle to score even against this defense. I look for KC offensive line to do the same thing as Green Bay's did MNF. Chiefs roll!!!!!!!!!
Upset Specials:
Arizona +8 - Cardinals will play inspired ball for Pat Tillman day. But more importantly I think conditioning will play a factor and stadium may be packed for a change. On paper this is a mismatch but for one glorious day Cardinals will reign su in the desert.
Tampa Bay +3 - Yes Seahawks are the better team but I am not sold on this team pulling off two straight wins on the road with or without Alexander. Bucs are still solid on defense and veterans on offense will have enough to win the game on home opener.
St. Louis +2.5 - Rams should have a field day as Holt,Bruce, and Faulk against this secondary without Deangelo Hall will be scary. Rams won 35-0 ly in St. Louis but I don't think Atlanta is insync enough with the West coast offense or defense strong enough to win here.
Others:
Cowboys -4.5
Oakland -3
Baltimore -3 (bought .5)
May have 2 others later but not willing quite yet to pull the trigger. best of luck.
