Even though MJ was my fav off all time(I know he was 40 years old at time) Kobe dropped 40 at halftime last time they played at staples. Oh besides the last game of the year who was the only team too beat the cavs at home this year. That's right and Kobe was sick and they still won. Lebron got swept in the finals, last year the lakers were 2 points away in game 2 after being down 24 with 7 minutes left. If they would have won that game the lakers would have the won the championship. Let's not forget the game were leon powe had more foul shots than lakers whole team.

I posted the stats , you guys said they were misleading , Well heres a stat for you that evens everything out ... its called per 36 mins ... basically it takes a players stats and figures out what somebody averages over exactly 36 mins , this way it levels the field for somebody that plays more minutes or gets more playing time then somebody else ...

This is just flawed thinking. West teams records are inflated because they got to play over 1/4th of their schedules against those crappy 6 teams. You flip flop the bottom 6 teams from the East-West and it takes away 2-3 wins from the West and adds them to the East. And wow look at that, the conferences records are pretty close to even.
The standings are misleading because of those god awful teams in the west that every playoff team used to beef up their record.

Atlanta has its road issues, but so does Utah. No way I can give the nod to Utah there, especially when they went 19-4 against that crap out west, but only managed to go 7-5 against the bottom 6 in the east.
You can say 9 of the top 12 teams are out west, but that is based on record only and that is flawed. You swap those bottom 6 teams from each conference and the records are pretty close to even and you can no longer say the West has 9 good teams and the East a bunch of average teams. That's my point. The conferences are even, despite what the records show.
