as i peruse the net,one thing is abundantly clear.....vitali klitschko is not being taken all that seriously.... aside from some europeans that i think are getting worn down from defending klitschko...

i`ve read columns from many sites...from newspapers....and the constant is that klitschko isn`t for real....many actually think that danny williams has a better than average chance to beat klit....danny williams....the guy that was chosen as safe cannon fodder for tyson`s comeback...

this is a guy that`s lost to smallish michael sprott, old shopwarn julius francis and was blown out by strong but ponderous sinan samil sam......

????.....a guy with 34 wins...33 inside the distance....a guy that`s gotten guys like larry donald, ross purrity and vaughn bean out of there...

granted...not a murderers row...but very tough guys to stop...

the guy`s losses are via injury to chris byrd...in a fight that he would have had to have gotten stopped to lose..and as a late replacement vs lennox lewis....a fight in which he gave as good as he got for 4 or 5 rounds...was actually ahead at the time of stoppage...and a fight after which lennox lewis retired...although to be fair, lewis was assuming control at the time of stoppage...

he took out "contenders" corrie sanders and kirk johnson....both apparently woefully out of shape...as was lewis supposedly out of shape for his klitschko bout....

now danny williams comes in the heaviest of his career...

how does klitschko do that?..i have no idea...

all i know is that this is a HUGE FIGHT for klitschko....he wins unimpressively, and it`s almost as good as a loss...

after looking at these 2...and sifting through all the biased commentary from all over the place,i`d say that klitschko should be EXPECTED to win and win convincingly...

williams has done nothing vs the closest thing to a real contender in sam.....francis is nothing more than a trial horse.....and tyson was so far over the hill when he fought williams, the hill had been bulldozed and they had built a 7-11 on the site...not to mention that tyson WAS injured in the 1st round....and hasn`t been more than a 4 round fighter in years... he had become the "black" butterbean of boxing...get past 4,and you had an excellent chance that tyson`s tank was empty...

klitschko....it`s time to put up....either step up and take control......or we`re relelgated to the byrd`s and ruiz` of the world as the standard....... and that thought scares the hell out of me...

btw...i have klit inside the distance flat(-138)and klit to win in a parlay with robert guerrero(a win),and i have famoso hernandez and cotto inside the distance parred in different ways...

along with a williams inside the distance play as a hedge at +600....in case the 6`8" klitschko has a brain fart and gives away all that height to a 6`1" williams and he hits the lottery with a lucky shot....i see no way for williams to get a decision....that`s the one thing that i feel very confident in...i really don`t like wagering on this ridiculously bad, unpredictable heavyweight didvision...

i had jirov(loss due to stupidity) parred with guerrero...

all these odds are outta my range and i don`t like parlaying all that much.....but i just won`t lay over 3-1....not my way.......but,i need a little action...lol

i see better things in the next 2 weeks....if they get lined...

everything very small..

Thanks for the writeup. I see you are cultivating a admirable sense of humor. A bulldozed with a 7-11-. funny but true. Actually I think the "black butterbean" quip gets the nod here. I just got home from Mandalay Bay. They have the round prop there lined at 6.5, 10 cents either way. Klits at -330. Also, I bought off my Cotto under round prop. I hope yours hits. I remember what Cotto did to Pinto. He had a score to settle , IMHO. Bailey may hang tough UNTIL Cotto's shots take their toll. Later.

that was cotto"inside the distance"( around - 500..that`s why i parlayed it)...not a round prop...cotto may be leary of bailey`s right hand early.....but i expect bailey to fold from cotto`s body work...if hurtado removed bailey with one body shot,i think cotto will get to him at some point...

Another reason Klitschko gets no respect is because people look at both brothers as one fighter. That plus the fact he could have held on to Byrd the last few rounds and won but quit on his stool instead. I don't see any dog having a chance tonight but Williams might if he can last several rounds and have a bit left to fire back from six on. This is based more on what Klitschko might not have rather than what kind of fighter Williams is.

Frank Warren was very high on Williams years back and that built his reputation in England. At that point he became an underachiver either because it was a mental thing or he lacked the talent to begin with. When he was able to withstand Tyson's early round barrage and fight back it built his reputation all over again (at least in the uneducated public view) regardless of how shot we feel Tyson is.

Anyone posting a line on the Carlos Navarro fight? I can't find one.

also...on the hedge......that cut he sustained in the lewis fight was one of the worst i`d ever seen in a boxing match.......how they let that go as long as it did,is beyond me...

there`s always a chance that that scar tissue can open....i heard that klit took around 60 or 70 stitches around his eye and inside his mouth after the lewis fight....

i only hope that the 6`1" tall williams doesn`t decide to go passive on us...he can`t outjab klit...he`s already said he wants to work klit`s body....and to do that,he`ll have to get inside....

and that should be when the fun begins....

williams took his shot vs tyson.....he didn`t flinch...he came back hard after being on queer street....and as slow as sam is.....after williams was knocked down twice in the 4th round,he apparently gave it the old college try....not just try to survive until being stopped in the 6th....
i`d like to hear from tony montana here....i know he knows the klit`s better than we gringo`s....

What can i say ?
My big bets are under 7 and 1/2 (small money bet but with lot of parlays which are all winners so its the missing link) The under 7 1/2 at plus money is not a bad bet but nothing special neither

I have played a big parlay with Klit williams not going the distance at -270, I really like that one because if anything happens like cut or lucky shot i am covered, if Willams is standing after 12 rounds i have simple made a bad judgement. the second parlay bet is Cotto fight not going the distance at -620. I dont like that bet at all but had to parlay it with something for betting reason higher limits.

Kltschko is a FIGHTER. (unlike his brother who i like skillwise very nice combination and monster jab). For Vitali a real victory is a KO only. He wants to get his opponent out of there. Larry Donald is a pretty slick fighter and Vitali was hunting him down for 10 rounds showing no respect whats so ever for Donald shots and Donald wanted to see the end but Vitali got him. It wasnt pretty but he got him.
What i want to say is even if it is the 12 round and Vitali is far ahead on the cards he will go for the KO. So i believe the inside distance bet is def. the smart bet vs win Vitali. The ******* cut will be always a issue for Vitali i will be reluctant to bet very high on him.
IF somebody is coming right at him he is at his best beautiful straight right hand (really straight not coming from the side)
He defends himself with distance alot ... meaning he leans back very very far with his upper body and counters right away, dangerous but effective if successful.
If Williams comes at him Vitali will not run but stand and fight. I believe i have never see him fight on his backfoot.
I believe the Vitali of today is the better than two years ago.

vitali is improving lately get more mobile and adding different shots to his arsenal but the straight right is still the money shot.

Vitali will fight with extra power because of the situation in the ukraine, fighting with orange shorts (color of opposition). Personal i dont believe in this kind of motivation but who knows.

As nearly always we need the same thing
Good Luck
By the way there is a under play available at 5 dimes i played it for the limit for fight in europe next week. I strongly recommend that bet this is not a real fight it is more of a promotional showing where everybody will do what he is suspected to do. I hope figure out the fight and this is clearer than my last attempt at disguised information (mecian in asian fight )

a mismatch.....a shutout

as far as klit goes,he barely got touched...i`m still a little surprised at all the williams sentiment over beating a shot and injured tyson......and the odds dropped as the fight grew nearer...it`s easy for me to say after the fact....but,the guy lost to julius francis, for crying out loud...

williams has tremendous recuperative powers,though...tremendous heart.....i was getting a bit nervous...the guy keeps getting up....and he had aaron snowell in his corner...if i`d have known that,i`d have maxed out on klitschko...
but this was a mismatch...he had no clue how to work inside and stayed at the perfect distance for vitali...

vitali doesn`t snap punches....but,neither did foreman...their punches are thudding...and they hurt...accumulate a lot of damage....

he`s stiff...he`s not pretty...but,he`s 6`8" tall and he knows how to use his height.....

cotto scared me by taking round 5 off.....obviously,he was setting up for round 6 and the body shots did the job...just like hurtado took bailey out....bailey wanted no more of cotto...the cuts didn`t stop it....

and dr. margaret goodman?.... or was that dr. mengele?.......that`s one bloodthirsty b-tch......hernandez will probably need several units of blood or die from anemia.......

the holding was ridiculous by ramirez... and the obvious attempts at headbutts in the last 2 rounds had me screaming at the t.v.....kenny bayless obviously missed most of this.......you`re lazy....a waste...

a great night...everything comes in...except the jirov par....and that looked like a winner until he lost focus....

congrtas to everyone....i suspect most did well....

You were right about the body shots, Bailey was fighting one round, but after the knock down he was discouraged. Cotto took the shots that landed flush in the first without blinking. The not going the distance at -600 was a stupid bet no value but it worked out.
All i need now is a short night in austria on Thursday.

i`m with you on it....i`d be remiss not to be....you`ve won us alot of jack recently.......even if it blows, you are still way ahead of the game...

you can`t hit every one...but your record speaks for itself...

this one`s just gravy,if it hits...there isn`t a ton of wiggle room...but from the opponent`s record(haven`t seen him),i can see your logic....

Sanders weighs in at 235 opponent didnt show up for way in tells you something.

Its not ompossible that that guy is sitting in atrain right now.

He looks not trained out but with alittle good will you can make out some abs under the belly, good enough for me.

Come guys somebody has to bet that fight that the line moves and i can bet again.
My prediction is first round sanders.

**** i was wrong. It was not Sanders first round.

It was Sanders in the second. :103631605
Varakin down two times in the first and one time in the second.
Varakin than attacks and connects right and left Sanders retreats to the ropes Varakin wants to unload and Sanders with one very short left hook and Varakin out cold.
Bidenko vs Onofrei is a good fight, round 7 Bidenko ahead but onofrei the stronger guy with Ko chances.
