April, May and June were good to me in baseball. July was not very good. August worse than July. I was definitely more focused early on. I am making stupid mistakes like rushing through the day's card, playing handful of games, etc. I have been thinking alot last few days and also reading Pennywise advice, Mo's threads, etc and KNOW PW is right when he talks about playing too many games, buying in to what the books put the line at etc. So, starting today I decided to do just as it said in PW's post yesterday...sit on the toilet and cap the games BEFORE looking at the lines. Took my time, created my own lines for each and then went in and looked at the "real" lines....sure enough, ONE game jumped out at me and I love it. Does this mean this game is guaranteed to hit? Of course not, but I think if I focus in on just one game a day capping this way, I can do some damage. As always, comes down to focus and discipline. Heck, if I can make this work and play my POD and PW's play each day, I SHOULD do very well.
So of course I cannot start my record over, but moving forward I will track overall POD record (which is not overly terrible) and also track it separately with my "Toilet Picks"
POD:
June 18-7 +1270
July 12-13 -241
August 2-6 -416
Overall 32-26 +613
POD Toilet Picks:
0-0
Today's Play of The Day:
Detroit/Seattle OVER 8.5 -116
Love it! Best of luck to all today and everyday
