If the bucks and 76ers don't win the championships this season. Would this be a trade that either team would be interested in...Thoughts?

I know this isn't political but figured i would try a sports topic.

Both guys right now are around 3rd team All-NBA talent. Middleton would no doubt be a much better fit on that 76ers team right now, Ben Simmons has almost no doubt the higher ceiling of the two...

Haha. I know. Click bait. As because the title wasn't political i knew that's the only way it would be opened.

Simmons and Giannas on the same team wouldnt work in my opinion because they’re essentially the same player. Both drive a lot and rarely shoot. Look to pass. Good defenders. Both need the ball in their hands a lot. Not a trade I would make if I were the Bucks and trying to win it all right now

No chance the Sixers would do it. Middletown is at his ceiling and a little older probably. Simmons is younger and not near his ceiling and built to be an All Star for the next 10 years still.

Just imagine if the bucks had taken Embiid in the draft instead of taking parker with the #2 pick.

Just something wrong with that sixers team. Couldn't even handle half a pacers team when they were full strength. A Middleton for Simmons trade would be interesting in my opinion. Though Simmons shooting makes Giannis shooting look like he's JJ Reddick.

Not trying to be an ass but how long do you wait for Simmons to fill his promise before admitting that he isn't all that the Simmons supporters expect him to be?

I'd think maybe Simmons for Devin Booker might make a little more sense.

What i dislike about Booker is that he plays 0 defense. That is why his teams never improve but he puts up all star offensive numbers. This is the same with Ayton, and Kevin Love back when he lead Minnesota and the same with Trae Young.

Middleton might not be an all-nba defender but he is also a plus on that side of the ball.

Bledsoe is the guy they needed to deal, doesn’t really fit well against the better defensive teams in the league, but the time to deal him was likely last offseason.

Middleton fits way better on their team than anyone of comparable talent/pedigree would

The only reasonable upgrade they could have acquired was chris paul and one could never make that work with paul's contract.

Gianni to my Raps is my big hope. I think we repeat regardless this year but he would be unreal in Canada. That being said give me Middleton over Simmons

Bledsoe/Hill/Ilysova would've matched salary fwiw, OKC was looking to just unload CP before the season because of the length of his deal. Hard to go through the whole league but there are a lot of guys that would fit better on their team than Bled IMO.

They also could've matched the Pacers on Brogdon even though it was an expensive contract. If you think he is overpaid, just deal him later.

This is a team owned by 2 hedge fund billionaires that just had the taxpayers of WI build them a new stadium and they're clearly not fully committed to spending what it takes to win the title despite being gifted hitting the lottery 10 times over with the Freak.

Letting Brogdon go was not a basketball decision and was simply being cheap. Though i'll never understand why the pacers gave the bucks a 1st rounder and 2 second round draft picks, as the bucks weren't going to match anyways.

A ball handler with no shot and can't be on the court down the stretch

But he sure is a dead ball magnet, fights for every ball after the whistle blows
