How about game one when the Lightning down 3-1 were desparately trying to get back in the game and were called for two penalties in last 3 minutes of a Stanley Cup Finals game.

17:50 Fedotenko: Roughing - 2 min.
19:06 St. Louis: High sticking - 2 min.

Calgary put the game away with a 2 man advantage at 19:40. I quess Bettman missed it.

Oh jesus that puck is in. Some of you need your eyes checked. I bet you take every human angle of that shot & the puck would be in because it was!

Also to Wil, listing the penalties called isn't good enough. The timing & validity of some of these calls was ridiculous.

The suspension was bogus as well as that penalty call with 1:01 left in game 7. Don't give me the bullshit that he was bleeding as he called the penalty before ANYONE even saw that St. Louis was bleeding.

You NEVER call a penalty when he did. Fraser is a clown & shouldn't even be officiating. This is not just about this series but overall. He has to be the center of attention & that is wrong. Fans pay to see athletes not the damn refs!

19:37 Andreychuk: Tripping - 2 min.

38 seconds did not give the Cup to anyone.

Ref/commisioner conspiracy theories are always popular excuses for losing, but seldom hold water.

Both calls were horrible. You do NOT call any penalties in the last few minutes of a deciding game like that. The fans were treated with some thrilling hockey for the last few minutes & then boom there goes 2 ridiculous calls to disrupt the whole flow of the game.

Bottom line US teams 12 Cups, Canada 0 Cups. Sounds like you Canadians don't know what your talking about.
