Hal,
I missed that one, but it doesn't surprise me one bit to see a lopsided display of officiating that greatly helps an American team.

I always root for the Canadian teams (except versus Buffalo) for that reason.

Calgary up 3-2 in series and could not score but 1 goal in game 7. Point the fingers in the mirror

And have your star get exactly ZERO shots on goal.

I'm sure coming off 2 ass-fuking by Bettman and the Zebra patrol (include one that stole the cup) is an easy thing to due.

Not to mention getting to travel 3000 miles to go play game 7.

Give me a break girls.

Oh please game 7 should have never happened. The officiating in this series was a disgrace!

Lightning fans surely must appreciate the realities of pro wrestling and Don King fights.

The puck is above - not completely past the goal line. In order to be a goal it must be entirely past the line and inside the pipes. Bottom line people can cry forever but the Cup is in Tampa and the issue is moot.

That was over the line with hi def TV you could see it plain as day. Thats beside the point the NHL and Gary Betmen wanted Tampa to win the cup so hockey would become more popular in the southern US and they made sure it happened. I mean I cant beleive some of the calls the refs were making in the finals and calling bullshit penelties and it certinly looked like they were trying to get Tampa the first goal in the last 4 games and you know the stat when either team scored first.

one way of looking at it is this....consider this EGD as I see you did not comment on my response in yout "always remember..." thread....

Lets pretend the puck is much higher in the air above Bhulins pads....Of course it would be surrounded by white Ice which appears insde the net.....would it then also have to be consided a DEFINATE goal...

the more you post this stupid picture the more you prove it was INCONCLUSIVE....

The NHL did ERR AGGREGIOUSLY BY NOT STOPPING THE PLAY & REVIEWING ALL ANGLES, EVEN IF IT TOOK 15 MINUTES...THAT THEY DID NOT DO & THAT WAS A BIG ERROR...But had they done it (unless they have angles that I do not) they would have come up with the same thing.

If you take 6 steps to the left on this angle then you might see better if the Puck is in but the goal post would probably be in your way...

Do not misundestand my post... I am of the Opinion that the Flames got the raw end of the deal in Officiating...IN A BIG WAY...however...that does not PROVE that this was a goal & nothing I have seen has proven to me that it was yet...

At one time I may have called this paranoid, however, after seeing this years final...Coupled with what happened in the BUFFALLO final....I am starting to beleive in this conspiracy theory....

maybe next time they can get 25,000 fans at the victory parade...lol...

Thats true Dallas is down south too I always knew it was and did'nt think much about the goal at the time. I wounder what the officating was like that series or last year with Anahiem getting to the finals or a couple years ago with Carolina. I'm really starting to think now this is what bettmen always wanted hockey to take of in the southern states thats why he either moved teams down there or expanded down there and that failed, nobody likes hockey in any of these places but if they're team does good they will have short term fans and not make Betman look like such a dumb ass.

not going to bother reading this whole thread, i get the jist of it from the title. Never make that call with 1min left game 7 NEVER. I doubt it would have made a diff, but no one else ( ref's) in the entire roster would have called that , kerry's been a f... idiot for as long as i can remember...
