I have a futures bet on Bovada on Firing Line at 90/1 from a couple of months ago. I am intrigued to see what they do with him. It was looking like Sunland Derby, but now I am not sure. He needs the 50 points or possible 100 if he does the SA.

If he runs the Sunland, what is a logical other race between that and the Derby?

If the owners & trainer want in on the derby, they will run him at Sunland.......no way they run him in the Santa Anita derby vs Dortmund for the 3rd time.

You want sure points, he will run at Sunland......I will be highly surprised if he runs at SA.......

I wish Firing Line had a few more races under his belt going into the KD........he will probably go off 3/5 at Sunland.

I like your 90-1 long shot future in him.......he's one of my top horses as of now.

I'm so excited to see all these prep races coming up........

Add Dubai Sky to the probable list. Coming out of the #12 post, he rated & closed when needed to win by over 2 lengths.

This derby will have good horses that will take a lot of money.

Firing Line smoked that weak field like a pack of Kools. By 14.5 lengths?? Was that a joke or what?

Firing Line will either be 3rd or 4th choice in the betting come May 2nd

Spirals winner was Dubai Sky earning a beyer of 92, ran a good race from post #12, but he's no match for the better horses running in the big 5 final prep races.

UAE derby: Mubtaahij won easily & actually won the way you want a derby horse to win by making the move before the top of the stretch. Very interesting horse imo, but a horse from UAE has never finished in the top 3 in the Kentucky derby if I'm not mistaken.

Now we are awaiting the LA derby & Florida derby results......I like Upstart to finish 1st or 2nd in the Fla derby, & the LA derby is wide open IMO.......let's see what happens.

International Star will be a tough horse in the Derby as this horse can make moves anywhere on the track.Dont know if it can win but should have a great chance of being on the ticket IMO

Yes, after watching the LA derby several times, the horse was on the rail, & then moved between horses, nice moves & then got outside the leader & took control to win, very impressed!

The Ramsey's are so over due for a derby win, not even funny.

We still have 2 Saturdays of racing, but the biggest races are next week, Wood, Bluegrass & Santa Anita. IMO, stay far away from the over hyped horses going into this years derby.
