Thanks for the kind words fellas!
Tonight 3-3
Season Record: 82-74-2
Plays for tomorrow:
Providence -9.5 vs. Marquette: taking the home favorite tomorrow night, especially less than ten points against an good marquette ball club. All of the factors that i like in a game seemed to happen on this play: momentum, motivation, talent, location, and a reasonable spread. Lets look at prov's last four games: Win vs ST Johns (18), an impressive win @ butler (8), a blowout win @ mass (24), and a Win vs. Rider (8). Heres how i look at it: if providence can play on the road against a really good butler team and win by eight, they can beat marq by 10 or more at home. Marq has honestly struggled in their last four games, losing two and playing down to the level of their competition in the victories: Loss @ Gtown (10), bad loss at home vs Seton Hall (20), Win vs Presbyterian (18), and another underachieving victory at home against chicago st (17). I think those two victories say more than their losses, they should be killing those teams by 25 points at home. It seems like they lack the will to win, and providence surely does not. I like prov by 14 tomorrow night.
Auburn +6 vs South Carolina: This play was based soley off of the game line. It seems low to me, and i think the tigers have a shot at giving the gamecocks their first loss tomorrow night in front of the home crowd.
NC Greensboro +1.5 vs. Furman: NCGB has played five straight road games and finally come home to face a mediocre furman team that has struggled in their last 4 games, with three being loses (NC Ashville, navy & dayton) The most indicative loss was the NC ash game where they couldnt find a way to win coming down the stretch. Playing on the road in CBB is never easy, but furman seems to really struggle. This is a perfect spot for NCGB to knock off a .500 team at home, where they havent played since december 15th. Im sure they are motivated and happy to be playing on their home court once again. I like NC Greensboro by 7-8 tomorrow night.
Oklahoma St +9 @ Baylor: this one was a SOS play. Three out of four games that baylor has faced good competition they have lost, two (kansas & texas a&m) by 19 or more points. Bay has beaten and played some really crappy teams, (Texas southern, Hardin-Simmons, Prairie View A&M, Ark St, Savannah St, Jackson St, and Stephen F Austin. Their only good win was at home vs vandy in a game that came down to the wire. Oklahoma St on the other has been a little more impressive IMO. A two point loss @ florida, 2 point win @ minny, 10 point loss vs tulsa, 3 point loss vs george mason early, and back to back wins vs long beach st who has shown it can play with some of the better teams nationally. Their losses have been by very few points, and they are poised to roll into baylor and win SU. Ill take the points in this one, i really like the attitude and grit of this ball club. Ok st by 3 @ baylor tomorrow.
That does it so far for the sides. Have a few ideas for totals tomorrow, and will post once they are released. BOL
