I made lots of future wagers on KC +550, +600 and +650 to win the Super Bowl Pre Season at several legal and offshore sites. The amount of winnings in total would exceed six digits.

Before you ask is this life changing or will change things financially, the answer is no.

I like to hear how others would play this out, whether to let it all ride, hedge or some combination of both.

What say you?

I'd probably do a combination of things. I'm in same boat but with the 49ers.

alternate line play up to + 3 1/2

Hedge some with ML

set up some teasers with key bb games

Parlays with other future positions. assuming you're involved with other futures.

Save some hedging for live wagering for a key line.

It doesn't matter if it's life changing money or not. You pick your team and then hedge it so that a loss would be the same as losing your usual bet size. Otherwise you are making a bet that's much larger than what you would normally bet.

First thing is that you are in a fortunate position in which the opponent is favored and you can go ML-Hedge at a great price

You already said the money to you isn't lifechanging, so that already tells me you will probably let it ride

But since everyone is different when it comes to this/hedging, the only way for anyone to decide is to answer these questions:

A. Will you be more upset with yourself if you hedge and your original wager/team wins and it was unnecessary
B. Will you be more upset with yourself if you do not hedge to guarantee yourself a nice profit, and the other teams wins meaning you win absolutely nothing & lose everything

We have a winner right here.

Take 40-50% of what your winnings would be and

Put half of that on 49ers ML

The other half split between 49ers +3 and 49ers +3.5

If you’re gonna hedge

Wouldn’t you want the opponent to be the underdog?
Yes you are correct i got that backwards forgot he had kc

I think it goes to -1 or PK by GameDay

But most important thing is the bettor evaluate those 2 scenarios I mentioned and which one they can live with most

Who's offering the 49ers at +3 and +3.5?

These numbers aren't accurate but for sake of discussion, lets say that your payout is $100,000. If you hedge, you receive $50,000 no matter what the outcome. If you let it ride, in essence, you are making a $50,000 wager.

There are other considerations such as wager amount and odds but it is just one wager if you you decide to hedge.

I had a friend that hedge his bets all the times. For example, he bet 1half and wholegame. If he win 1half then he hedge 2half. So far, he’s not making any money. Actually, he is down alot. He’s okay betting wholegame but his 2half bets are awful..
