I am pounding this game. The only reason I can see is that this game is being played at night in Nevada and the house should be rocking. Also, Nevada is 3-0 at this house this year and has won by dd. Sometimes the books just get scared, or they try to shake things up, by causing many people to start to wonder and question themselves and others. This leads to action on both sides and the that is what the book wants. For me I could careless about the book. I just cap it out and this game shows me with a big advantage talent wise on the Jayhawks side. This game and its low number reminds me of the Virginia vs Loyola M game, many also felt a trap or where confused by the -2 on Virginia. For me, it was obvious that Virginia had a higher talent advantage, and that is one main reason why I backed them. The same applies here. Aloha CC.
Nevada has been a great team at home and on neutal courts. I thought they were pretty impressive against UCONN early in the year, and if they were @ Nevada that day, they would have won.
Nevada is a tough place to play, and this is just a therory but, I think the altitude makes it tough for teams from sea level (as far as shooting %).
THen again, like Capt said, I might be overthinking this, but no way I play Kansas and give up 6 or 7 points.
