Guys,

If you told me K-State would have 21 pts. early 4th I would have felt like they had a 10 pt. lead

money mario, I would take that also. 21 points by KSU would have been enough in my opinion.

Good luck tomorrow

Who is the analyst on this game. This guy knows more about what Snyder should do in the red zone, than Snyder does. What a joke, that this Mr. Zero would insinuate, that Snyder is a wonderful coach, BUT I would do it this way. Get a Pop Warner job first and match Snyder's
D-1 record & then start thinking about a freshman position at the HS level first Mr. color commentator.

This OSU LB Robert Reynolds has got to be the cheap shot artist of all time! He tried to tear Roberson's head off. Remember, this is the same guy who almost choked out Wisconsin QB Jim Sorgi back in October. This guy is a disgrace to college football - but then again he might fit in with the Raiders...

chic- I think Bill Snyder is a very good coach but the analyst in this spot was absolutely right. Kansas St used over a minute on the clock to get in from the one yard line and burned a timeout as well. That left them with only one timeout. Had they kept that second timeout, they would have been able to kickoff deep and could have stopped the clock twice. Poor clock management and poor play calling.

Ohio State tried to give it away. Instead of running Ross and Joe (sp?) for no gain right up the middle for 6 straight plays, why didn't they atleast roll Krenzel out and try to gain a few yards. Their conservative play calling almost cost them the game. But then again it is Ohio State....would anyone expect anything different then a nail biter?

Soccerbob: Earlier in the game this very same analyst had complimented Snyder on his complete game package including clock management. If the running back scores on first down from the one his comment never comes up. Yes Bill Snyder knows the risk-reward of running and not making it. I also know, that there is no more prepared coach in the nation than Bill Snyder. Drive by his office in April at 5:00 am and he is there. That running play was high percentage in his mind, when everyone was looking for and El Ro rollout. Another classic example of 20/20 vision. I wonder how great the fake punt by Coker last night would have been viewed had DJ Williams been tackled and created a possession change inside the 30 yardline. My point is that no analyst or media guy knows the K-State personnel or system like the head coach. Furthermore Snyder & his staff put in 1000 more hours of preparation for this game than did the color commentator.

Enough already, about coaching philosophy & game decisions. Bottom line for 2004: The FRIDGE (not qualified to be an analyst) has "7" 2nd half WINS in a row. Trying to beat the jinx by talkin about it! Makes this adventure a little bit of fun!

His name is Ed Cunningham - I think he was a lineman for the Patriots way back when. He was jumping back and forth across the fence on coaching issues all night. He actually said the Reynolds' play on Roberson's head was a "total accident" - Apparently he missed the Sorgi play in his show prep.
