After drawing 2-2 at the Delle Alpi, these two storied clubs meet at the San Siro in the second leg of their Italian Cup semi-final matchup. Neither team is going to win the scudetto this year. Inter has been out of contention for some time and Juventus's chances were finished off by Roma last weekend. The Italian Cup is a good spot for one of these squads to pick up a trophy by advancing here and then beating Lazio.

Juventus's defense has been below par most of the season and has been a sieve lately. They will play with a full squad here and their offense should put up a couple goals. Inter has some missing players, including goalkeeper Toldo who is suspended, for this match. But that good strike force is intact and I like them, especially Adriano, to score a few as well. I favor Inter a bit here at home but my play is the over.

I was hoping to hear all the typical Italian prejudice that those matches are low scoring since those guys only have one goal and that is: to win. 1-0 is enough, etc.
No, the public unfortunately knows that in Italy scoring has become the trend!

Not in the crappy Sunday games they show on RAI .

was the 1st cup match before or after Inter went to Juventus and pounded them (after their loss to Arsenal)? Just curious. If that Inter win was the last meeting then I may lean toward Juventus.
