washington never stood a chance in that series. there was no way if possible that those referees throughout that series were going to let it happen. early in tonights game, Arenas was called for pushing off with his lead arm on a drive to the hoop. later on, James did one of his patented split the double team on an admittedly nice drive to the hoop for a bucket and got away with pushing off and/or holding with his lead arm twice. Reverse that situation, and Cleveland is a basket short and Arenas has two FT's coming and there probably isn't an OT. I felt James travelled on his game winning shot in game 3 in Washington and you could probably have a debate on the one in game 5 although that one looked legit by today's lax rules. These are just a couple of instances where Cleve. got the benefit of the doubt IMHO. An anology of what i mean is like in a prize fight. to fix a prize fight, you don't have to be blatant about it. All you have to do is have the judges give all the close ones to the same guy and it's done. Oh well, congrats to the Cavs and their backers and too bad for the Wizards.

Facts are facts, the Wizards went to the line a hell of alot more than the Cavs did. The Wizards got away with so much this whole series plus got every ticky tack foul go their way. Cavs players were hacked many times that should have been a bucket and foul and the refs let it go. Than you have the Wizards that get to the FT line when the Cavs looked at them wrong.

The Nets and Wizards were the two teams I worried about in these playoffs. The Cavs match up well with the Pistons and have shown they can beat them. I'm not saying it is a sure series win but I see some close games between the two.

the cavs stand no chance against the pistons.

the wizards went to the line before because a) they have more scorers and b) they go to the basket more.

i don't know what you are talking about when you say the wizards got away with so much more?

to me the refereering was terribly inconsistent. the only consistent thing was lebron gets the benefit of the doubt in 90% of all calls. Witness his walking all over the court.

the fact of the matter is, neither of these teams can beat the pistons in 7 games.

you might be the only person in the world that thinks the Wiz got favorable treatment this series.

The two republican peices of shit can quit talking like they know what they are talking about. Just because three or four of you posted that you thought I am wrong does not mean it is true. As for the Wizards going to the hole more than the Cavs, your crazy. Even E Snow was driving the lane this series, and anyone who knows anything about him knows he never does that. I've seen numerous times when the Cavs would drive and get pounded down low with no call. Anytime a Wizards player even put the ball on the floor the whistle would blow. I do admit the goal tend that was not called against Anderson but the Wizards got away with a goal tend against Z a couple of games ago so it evens out. And the Cavs do stand a chance against the Pistons. Cleveland matches up better with them than the Nets or Wizards. Like I said before, I'm saying that we defintally win the series but it will be close and we have a chance.

republican pieces of shit?
you are fuckin retarded man, we're talking about BASKETBALL not POLITICS. and i'm not even republican, you're so goddamned stupid, your points are irrelevant and unsupported.
you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, enjoy the Cavs win since you're from Ohio but shut the fuck up about it being a Wizards-favored series.
Cleveland has zero chance against Detroit. Zero.
Eric Snow drove the lane a total of maybe 3 times in game 7 because he had fast breaks and wide open layups. That's what PGs do. Your "numerous times" Cavs got pounded inside is really once or twice. Ask ANYONE ELSE (outside of Ohio) if the Wiz got shafted more than Cleveland. The answer? Yes.

For a public debater or whatever you call yourself, you really make no sports-related arguments. Stick to politics I guess.

heatohio, I hope you realize you've lost what little shred of credibility you had left on here with these Cavs comments. You were clearly watching a different series than everyone else...and by the way, I'm not a republican you dumbass. You're digging that hole deeper with every post. Keep up the good work.
