With sports betting becoming legal in so many states today besides Nevada their bedrock, I wonder this. A famous NY politician once said ..."there was no such thing as the mafia". I think he was getting ready to run for President....but I forget..too long ago, I only recall the comment. When you look across the US states, it comes to my mind that FLORIDA in particular does not offer legal sports wagering... My question for your debate... Does the Mafia exist in Florida?

You have to have some age to recall... Mario Cuomo. And a very likeable guy in my eyes. Long Long Ago!

Florida did legalize sports betting 1.5-2 years ago

Ron DeSantis reached a deal with the Seminoles to offer it, fixing a mess the last governor made

But others sued for what boils down to them not getting a piece of the pie

It's due back in court anytime now as they battle it out to see if it will be allowed again

A 3 panel judge will determine this

Hopefully they use some common sense and realize that everyone in Florida will just use offshore and the state eint benefit at all
