Baseball is back.

I have great news for everyone who likes to bet baseball. My love for the game, combined with my determination for destroying the books combined with my ridiculous knowledge of it makes for a very dangerous combination.

But I'm not here to brag. Talk is cheap. This year, I will post all my plays on this gold mine of a thread, and we will all make an absolute killing.

2010 is the year my friends. Lets make some serious cash and do some serious damage.

For the entire year, I honestly couldn't tell you. I know for a fact I came out a big winner on MLB though.

I'm pretty uncanny with MLB totals. I have found that looking at pitchers last 3 starts is a very effective tool when placing an "Under" bet.

Pick #1 of the 2010 MLB season.

Lincecum at Haren Under 7.5 -130

San Francisco right hander Tim Lincecum is the most dominant pitcher in MLB. His quest for a 3 peat begins on Monday in Houston against Danny Haren and the Astronauts. Haren has traditionally owned San Franciscos lineup 1-8, I can certainly testify to that. I look for this game to very low scoring, maybe 2-3, 3-1, the 5 inning under should be a good one as well, but the short porch in left at Minute Maid Park makes me think about that one twice. San Franciscos bullpen should come in and slam the door on a 3-1 lead or so is what I am envisioning here. Would be very surprised to see 8 or more runs in this one. Slam the under at -130 its worth the juice.

How about Oswalt, has he owned the Giants too...just wondering?
Astros have lost four of their last five openers, so i like Lincecum too and Oswalt has been fighting a back injury this preseason..maybe SF is still the play..:smoker2: I'm not sure of slamming the UNDER here tho??

My bad I was talking about Haren with my friend, yes of course I meant Oswalt, my apologies

Yes Oswalt owns the Giants, not Haren

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim -134

Blackburn at Saunders

This looks like a good price to take Saunders at home against a team that traditionally struggles away from home, especially in Southern California. I look for the Angels to take this one from the Twinkies.
