Serious "Key" that Purple stuff, just casually tossed in
"Easier said than done" of course and among the best story/journeys illustrating that is John Lennon's killing of his Ego, remarkably EARLY in his journey which should've been telling
and was cuz he concluded he'd killed his Ego which left him all mentally messed up "I'd become nothing" and he was real sad but the whole ordeal he faced there was cuz he'd not actually overcome Ego at all. He'd just thought he had.Later he did though, of course, retreated as result of no longer having any use for the fame and adoration, having defeated Ego these things in fact became detestable maybe, at the least totally unacceptable.
When Ego was at last defeated and He was Free, Stress to a great degree disappeared and what replaced that was music, in his head. Sometimes melodies and words would come from "nowhere" so fast it was hard to write fast enough to get the words written down before these vanished like a cloud of smoke, there were times at the piano trying to play a Melody that had come so as to get this recorded, captured on tape before it slipped away that were even more "trying" than writing words that were flowing thru his brain so fast, down
cuz its not like you can speed up playing a melody to cram it all in, there was "spacing", between Notes, Flow, Pace to the magic.
Some of this stuff wound up being on the Double Fantasy album.
Some if they listen to that straight thru beginning to end will understand. As best that We are capable anyways.
Point of all this is: Yeah...Kill Ego.
