Where's the element of surprise? They were 3~13 last season. How about sneaking up on people if you sense a great turn-around? Going public kills those chances and will only make him look silly if they fall short. Plus it ruins the enthusiasm if they manage to have a .500 season (which would be spectacular for them).

Please explain my retarded logic. Kitna goes on the radio and says they're gonna win at least 10 games. In reality the Lions will probably win 6-8 games....a mediocre team. Like I stated, no starting QB is gonna do an interview and say "hey we're gonna go 8-8 this year!"
