I look at betting trends too, but 69/31 or 67/33 doesn't mean anything to me

when it gets to 85/15, I do give it some weight

I love it when favorites, especially home favorites, are getting dissed by an 80/20 or more margin, but anything less carries no weight with me

this weekend is very unique, we have the 4 best teams in football playing, and anyone one of them can win it all. Of course people are going to take 3 or more points.

and I never try to figure out what Vegas wants me to do

Based off of the last few conference champion games in the last few years... The public has won a lot of them. Greenbay at chicago. Pittsburgh vs the jets. San fran last year had the higher %. Giants vs san fran. Public was on g men with alex smith playing.

Very foolish to base your play off of who vegas needs this weekend. Why ? Because the super bowl is afterwards and the viewers and the amount of money wagered is far more important to vegas than this weeekend. Public loses in the superbowl. Not here imo
Some of what you're saying is true, but this AFC match up is huge. This could be the last time these two QB's meet in the playoffs let alone to go to the SB.
More $$$ will wagered on this AFC game then the NFC game for obvious reasons.
I actually capped the game at 29-24 Denver.
Best of Luck on which side you choose!

I'm just saying its not often you see line open at 7 on Brady. To me they are baiting you to take NE. Who wouldn't take NE with +7 when it opened. I personally have -3 Denver when it dropped to -4. Just seems too fishy to me is all.

The consensus sites are bogus in that they only tell you the percentages of wagers made on either team. The real information is the actual dollars supporting each side. That's all that matters. Vegas could have more tickets supporting one side but more total dollars on the other. And that info is the holy grail and not available anywhere, at any time.

Go back and watch all the games NE played this year. Miami, Clev, Houston, Carolina, Jets, New Orleans, Cinci, Atlanta, and Buffalo all kept the games close or beat them outright. last Denver vs NE, Denver was up 24-0 at halftime.

I don't see Manning allowing Fox to make stupid calls. Manning will be running the offense. NEVER BET AGAINST MANNING!!!

except in the playoffs. the guy you bet in the playoffs is tom brady.

Exactly Pats know how to win close games. Knowing you have and can come from behind and win in 4th qtr is huge. Other than Manning have DT, JT, Moreno, Decker etc pulled any tight games out in their careers? If Denver wins it has to be in a blowout.

Jim Caldwell an offensive genius? Wasn't Baltimore 29th in the league in offense this year? I guess he will show how much of a wizard he is with all that talent in Detroit...
Good Point though on record setters never really thought about that...............

Ray rice running into the back of o Linemen is out of Caldwells control.

i remember saying on this forum... " ravens will never win a superbowl with cam cameron"

they replace with him caldwell and they win the superbowl. Caldwell is legit imo.

I'm not even sure what this means?

the Pats are too good to be getting so many points so that means Denver wins in a blowout? I'm trying here

you've been trying for a long "Willie" ......nobody can deny that....good luck today.

I know its been said many times many ways but Vegas lines are set to get 50/50 on each side ,,,,,,,saying they are baiting is silly

fox is a bad coach?? lol

you do realize he was a great d coordinator for the giants prior to the panthers, his good panther d wasnt some coincidence. he took delhome to the sb and only lost by 3 as a 7 pt underdog

two years ago he won a playoff game with tim tebow.......let that sink in... tim tebow...... a guy who is not in the league and shouldnt have been in the league to begin with.

last year lost to the sb champions on a fluke td pass

fox is a great coach

Lol while him and john elway repeatedly said to the media in so many words... Tebow cant throw and hes only playing because somehow he keeps pulling it out and hes putting money in john elways pocket.

To say john fox won a playoff game for tim tebow is just wrong. Pitts D coordinator along with ike taylor gettig burned time after time was the reason. Not john fox lol

I get that but to give Brady +7 when lines opened?? Why 7? Why not 3.5 like Seattle/SF?

What stat? I told you before and I'll say it again, "Capping a game is a waste of fucking time!!". I can make a stat that says anything.

I just took a shit that looks like your face. That tells me it's gonna be a winning day. Enjoy the games.

Yup just heard the same thing from Nantz. Square comments from a square bettor. My favourite is "Denver is already eliminated" lol I think his research consists of a post it note lol so arrogant and yet so clueless about the NFL. Maybe the time off from posting here will give him a chance to learn some things about football.
