For all the homers on NE, can at least one give a reasoning for a victory beyond Brady or their head coach?
I'm a homer usually pessimistic but have been confident lately so here goes
1. Experience winning pressure 7-1 in three point games this year.
2. Denver hasn't come from behind to win all year and has proven they can't hold a lead against decent QBs. Luck, Romo, Rivers, Brady.
3. Denver hasn't beaten an elite QB all year.
4. Welker and Peyton tend to choke with the money on table
5. Denver peaked early beating bums, Pats peaking now
6. Pats secondary is much better than last match up
7. Pats third year in a row in AFC championship know how to win and lose, although Welker is gone now so one less loser.
8. Pats won both outdoor road AFC Championship games
9. Collins and Hightower are much improved
10. Siliga is a beast and will slow run no 280 yds this game.
11. Talib erases DT, Collins erases JT, Arrington owns Welker.. Can butterfingers of late Decker beat Dennard is the question.
12. Pats are disciplined and won't jump offsides on OMAHA 5 times like SD.
13. Pats have the running game to salt away game which Drnver doesn't.
14. Pats offensive line including TEs is far superior to Denver, open big wholes with seal blocks: Ridley, Vereen, Blount and Bolden are all good in space.
15. Other than Champ Bailey who is washed up, does anyone know a player on Denvers Defense.
16. Signing Marquise Cole who was rated in the bottom 30 of available DBs smells of desperation and will add to mind fuck of misinformation. Wouldn't be surprised if BB planned for this move.
17. Von Miller caused havoc last game and is gone.
18. Glasskowski is gone but we gained Vereen, Denard, Healthy Talib, Siliga, and discovered Blount/Collins since last games.
19. Pats can cycle running backs Moreno has to be spent by now
20. Welker and Peyton may try to over do things
21. It comes down like you said ti Brady vs. Manning. Brady doesn't give away big games with pics Peyton has in SBs, AFC champ games and playoffs.
22. Every analyst, writer and person in New England is picking Denver. That always bodes well.
