Did u guys know that the Atlanta Hawks have " roots " in the Quad-Cities ?

the " Hawks" origins can be traced to Buffalo , NY in 1946 ( they were known as the BUFFALO BISONS ) .

After only 38 days in Buffalo the team was moved to
? MOLINE , Illinois where they became the TRI-CITIES BLACKHAWKS ( we weren't known as the quad-cities back then ) .

in 1951 the team moved to Milwaukee where they officially changed name to " Hawks " .

In 1955 the team moved to St. Louis & in 1968 the St. Louis Hawks moved to Atlanta , GA where they now call home
