not saying that youkilis wasnt thrown at but i watched and i hardly think he would be throwing at someone... the yanks need joba as he is really their only reliever that can be counted on right now except mo... just makes no sense why he would do that at this point and risk suspension when the yanks are chasing the wildcard... you may be right but i dont agree with you on this one...
The reason I take so much offense to this is his criticism of umpires. Now Angel Hernandez is indeed the worst umpire to ever work in the MLB. But there isn't an umpire in any league that wouldn't have tossed the kid immediately after the 2nd pitch. And Torre's out there saying the umpires need to be educated better and don't know anything about the game.
Has nothing to do with the Yankees. Yeah, I don't like the Yankees, but when it comes down to it, I don't hate them as much as you would think. I just love baseball.
If Larussa or any other manager said this, I would call them out. It's like Lance Briggs wasn't drunk the other night either, right? Everyone can see the obvious, so he should stop insulting our intelligence.
