Time to google moving companies hc

Haha, they handle the relo in full through a third party. Will even ship my car and fly me and the dogs there so I don't have to make the drive.

Would get 2 visits there for housing search between now and start date, 30 days interim housing, and one trip back here after move. Plus I don't have to lift a finger to move my shit out of current home or into new one.

I absolutely love living in the South. I doubted I would like moving here but from day 1 my sentiment has been that I will never leave.

It is very tough to give an answer on this without a lot more details.

For example what field are you in, how old are you, and how much money do you make now? Also are you married with children or single?

All of these things play into the decision. For example if you're in your 50's, making 150-200k now, are married with a family, and you like your job, it's probably not worth it to change.

If you are making 50k, single, and in your 30's, the bigger salary and higher growth potential in a more vibrant city is the correct choice.

Plus I would offer to stay on at my current work in a consultant capacity, in the evenings, for a portion of my salary. Given my current employer and potential future one are not at all in the same industry and could never be considered to be competitors, I don't think this will be an issue.

So that would be an extra chunk of change just to give my opinions on shit and give advice.

Working this new opportunity plus that angle would put me in a significantly better financial position than I am today.

There's a poker room with soft games in South Austin that would be about a 30 min drive from North Antonio, if that helps your decision :)

Honestly I don't give a fuck about your opinion. I was addressing the adults here. So you can stop wasting time replying to this thread, unless you want to continue to carry on a conversation with yourself.

It is not "so called freedom", it is real freedom. 4 days out of 5 I don't even set an alarm clock. I get out of bed when I want, start when I want, finish when I want, watch TV when I want...

Well is there anyway to leverage the potential of you moving on to this new job into making your current situation even better?

Maybe you can work on that aspect.

Maybe parlay this situation into an ownership stake or something at your current place. Kinda what Nick Saban does every few years at Bama .

But this is going to require you to be extremely valuable at your current job for that to work

I'd keep the job you have. If you're happy why risk the unknown, maybe getting into a job you might end up hating. What you got going is rare. You love your job, and get to do it from home.

Just trying to help dude.

I could say a lot of things here, but I'll take the high road. Bol to you in whatever choice you make.

Sounds like a recipe for living a very boring and predictable life. All due respect.

if this kid is telling the truth which i doubt since all he does is post all day on this forum like his loser buddy justin cruise, any sane person would choose option 2.

but again, thats if one of these made up scenarios by this clown were real.

i know caray. this guy is a loser like cruise who always brags about being on the up and up.

those who are dont draw attention to themselves and create threads like this.

caray is just an attention whore like his butt buddy cruise.

I am extremely valuable. The issue is that I got an offer from a competitor 18 months ago and used it to leverage a 33% raise out them.

I don't think you can keep doing that. Eventually they're just gonna be like "we can't afford to keep this guy", and let me go.

You don't know me from Adam.

Funny you say all I do is post all day on this forum, considering you have more posts in less time. Let that one sink into your pea brain for a minute.

I don't brag about shit. Note there are no numbers and no mention of current or future salary in this thread.

I always brag about being on the up and up? I bore my soul here honestly through the most difficult time in my life, when alcohol was killing me and I was going through a bitter divorce. I don't always try to paint a rosy picture.

You're just a miserable piece of shit. Go crawl back under your rock you fucking cockroach, and come scuttling out next time a hood rat gets shot by a white cop.

Maybe. But watching the clock at a job you hate can suck. Working at home and doing what you want when you want, is what you make of it. If you're bored with it then go for the new job. I can see how being home all the time could get boring.

I'm at home all the time now for two years and it can be very boring, but I get to coach my son's little league baseball, watch sports all day and do what I want when I want. If I was single and bored I'd probably take the new job.

Man, most of your post applies directly back to you: clown, loser, attention whore
